Show ROCKYILLE Miss Marcia Terry Mrs. Philetus Jones Reporters Mr. and Mrs. Firmin Bruner and children, Elsie, Norma and Donald, Don-ald, of Virginia City, Nev., are visiting Mrs-. Brvac'aarents, Mr. and Mrs. Alma Demiv.' They expect to be here until about the 14th of April. Lester Adams left for St. George last Monday, where he will attend a party given for the selectees. He will leave from there for the induction station. A baby shower was given for the twin baby girls of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Leavitt, of Hurricane, at the home of the babys' great-grandmother, great-grandmother, Mrs. Oscar DeMille. This makes the 5th pair of twins born in the Oscar DeMille family. One son, two daughters, and one great-granddaughter have had twins in the family. Mr. and Mrs. Fred C. Fager-gren Fager-gren and two daughters, of Bryce Canyon, visited at the home of Mrs. Fagergren's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Philetus Jones, from Thursday Thurs-day until Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Adams and two sons left Monday for Los Angeles, where he expects to work in a defense plant. Mrs. Caroline Lemmon is visiting visit-ing with her grandson, Nathaniel Lemmon of Hurricane. Leo and George Hirschi are visiting vis-iting with their families for a few days. They are employed out south. Mrs. Lenora Worthen, of St. George, is visiting with her daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. Afton Ballard. Wayne DeMille was injured quite seriously the other day. He was working a plot of ground, when the horse ran throwing him under the machine, running some of the teeth into his leg. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Jones and son, Michael of Berkeley, Calif., left for this home Saturday, after a visit at the home of their parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Philetus Jones. Garth Jones came up from Las Vegas to visit them before they left. There are quite a few cases of measles and bad colds in town. Virgil Averett and Irving Dal-ton Dal-ton spent the week end home from Boulder City. |
