Show Dixie College Enrolment Shows Marked Increase Over Last Year Enrolment in the Dixie college is well over the 200 mark in the first three days of registration. There is a marked increase over last year in both divisions for the same period of time. Assemblies are being held daily this week, with orientation the central theme. The first student-body student-body assembly will be held Friday Fri-day at 11 o'clock. Adult classes will get underway under-way starting Monday night at 8 o'clock, with Pres. Glenn E. Snow conducting a course in present - day problems. Other courses will be organized, and notice will be given concerning them. Student officers are now planning plan-ning the get-acquainted social. The date has not yet been set. Football is decidedly in the air, with 40 hopefuls out for places on the high school team. The schedule will be drawn Monday at Cedar City, with Pres. Glenn E. Snow and Coaches Stanley Watts and Leland Hafen representing repre-senting Dixie. |
