Show HEW HARMONY Mrs. O. Hammond Reporter 'Several from New Harmony attended at-tended the rodeo in St. George last Friday and Saturday. School opened Monday with Rulon Orton and Mrs. Verl Kel-sey Kel-sey as teachers. Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Pace and family will reside in Cedar City this winter where their daughter, Barbara, will attend junior high school. Other students from here attending at-tending school in Cedar City this year are David and Donna Wool-sey, Wool-sey, Boyd Pace and Pearl Schmutz. Those attending school in St. George are George and Marilyn Mathis, Maurine Prince and Rodney Grant. ac Merle Prince is home on furlough, arriving Saturday from Santa Ana, Calif. He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Prince. Sunday visitors from Cedar City were Mr. and Mrs. Horace Hall and family who were guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Prince. Reese Davis spent the week end here from Las Vegas visiting his family. Jerry, the small son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Adair is recovering from a fall in which he sustained a badly bruised head and face. Mr. and Mrs. William Cottam and family and Mrs. Arthur' Cottam Cot-tam of St.. George visited Sunday at the home of Mrs. Litrene Taylor. Tay-lor. Mr. and Mrs. Samuel F. Leigh of Cedar City were business visitors vis-itors here on Saturday. Mrs. Clarence Webb and Mrs. Bert Truman and son, Alma, of St. George where in New Har- mony Wednesday getting , vegetables veget-ables to can. The Schmutz brothers and Albert Al-bert Mathis have been shearing goats the past weett. Norma and Wm. (Bill) Schmutz, daughter and son of Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Schmutz are attending the University of Utah this year. Friends called on Edmond Grant Monday to wish him joy on his 76th birthday anniversary. |
