Show TOQUERYILLE Mrs. Rowena W. Slack Reporter i ' Mrs. Fern Jackson returned home Sunday after visiting in Salt Lake City with he daughter, Mrs. W. W. Murray, and infant daughter. Mrs. Fred Rumph and children of San Barnarino and Mrs. Orrier Stewart and grandaughter, Ann Messenger of Los Angeles, returned return-ed to their homes Tuesday after spending several days visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. L. S. Kleinman. Mrs. Edna Bringhurst is here from Salt Lake City visiting relatives and friends. Mrs. Bringhurst, Bring-hurst, Mrs. A. P. Spillsbpry of Cedar City, Mrs. L. S. Kleinman, Mrs. Rhea Wakeling and Mrs. Martin Anderson of Toquerville spent last Sunday evening in St. George with Mrs. Eva Higbee. The group enjoyed dinner and a show together. Mrs. Nora Newell left Thursday for Los Angeles where she will visit for several weeks with her children. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Slack returned re-turned Sunday from Denver after visiting ten days with their children, child-ren, Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Bowler and family. Mrs. Orlene Mclntyre and children child-ren returned Thursday to her home in Herford, Washington, after visiting the past month with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Bringhurst. Miss Betty Slack and Lewis Fish are attending the B. A. C. Mrs. Mary Alice Aguire returned re-turned Friday from visiting in Circleville. Tony Aguire arrived Friday from Herford, Wash, to visit his wife and son. He entered the hospital Monday for major surgery. School opened Monday with A. B. Sullivan, Mrs. Ben Bringhurst Bring-hurst and Mrs. George Kleinman as teachers. Visiting last week with Mrs. Amelia Slack were Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Slack of Logan and Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Slack of Panguitch. Horace Slack of Provo spent the past week here visiting relatives. relati-ves. Chester Adams left Monday for Logan to attend the "Better Turkey School." Samuel Bringhurst and son, Deon, returned Monday from Provo where they have been visiting visit-ing and on business the past ten days. |
