Show ROCKYILLE Mrs. Philetus Jones Reporter The baby daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd DeMille was brought home from the Iron county hospital hos-pital over the week end. She had been taken there with pneumonia pneu-monia last Tuesday. A Valentine dance was held here Friday evening. A farewell party and dance was held Saturday evening honoring Lorraine DeMille, son of Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum DeMille, and June DeMille, son of Mr. and Mrs. Levi DeMille, who left Sunday afternoon after-noon for Fort Douglas, to enter the armed service. Carl Adams has employment on the highway job in the Pine Valley Val-ley mountains. German measles are still going the rounds, showing no partiality by attacking grown-ups as well as children. Virgil Averett, who is working at Boulder City, spent Saturday and Sunday at home here. Mrs. Pearl Eaton of Vernal, who is spending the winter in St. , George, is visiting her sister, Mrs. Marvin Terry. 1 The snow storm which started ; the middle of last week brought i some of the coldest weather of . the winter. The farmers feel that this storm now is a good thing : for the fruit trees. Mr. and Mrs. Philetus Jones ? spent Friday in St. George visit-' visit-' ing their daughter, Mrs. Harold Cannon and family and consulting consult-ing the optometrist there. |
