Show Testimonial Program Held In Center Ward For Miss Paralee Wallace Sunday afternoon services of the St. George Center ward were devoted de-voted to a testimonial program honoring Miss Paralee Wallace, prior to her departure. Music was by the Center ward choir and included, in-cluded, "How Firm A Foundation", Founda-tion", "Come, O Come To Me", "There Is A Green Hill Far Away", and "I'll Go Where You Want Me To Go", with Mrs. John L. Clarke conducting and Mrs. William Baker, soloist. Speakers were Russell Kerr, of Los Angeles, recently returned from the Argentine L. D. S. mission; mis-sion; Seaman Waldo Brooks, who was home on leave from the Pacific Pa-cific operations; Bishop Byron Taylor, Miss Wallace, her father, C. C. Wallace and her brother-in-law, Bishop Andrew McArthur. Miss Wallace left Feb. 3rd for Salt Lake City and will report at the mission home Monday for the Texas mission. Enroute she will spend two days in American Fork with her sister, Mrs. Emerald Emer-ald Stout and family. |
