Show Nancy J. Hunt Holt Dies Tuesday; Funeral Will Be Held Today ENTERPRISE, Utah. - Nancy Jane Hunt Holt, 84, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ivor Clove, Tuesday morning of causes incident to old age. Born in Ogden, Sept. 20, 1859, Mrs. Holt was the daughter of Amos and Nancy G. Hunt. They moved to Dixie when she was a young child. On June 19, 1878, she was married mar-ried in the St. George Temple to George A. Holt. They were the parents of ten children, nine of whom survive, including: George O. Holt, James A. Holt, Joseph W. Holt, Heber M. Holt, Leland Holt, Mrs. Mae Terry, Mrs. Lillie Farnsworth and Mrs. Clove, all of Enterprise; and Mrs. Milda Murray of Murray, Utah. She also has one sister, Mrs. Ange-line Ange-line Coleman of Teasdale, Utah; and one half-brother, Elias Hunt of St. George, besides 47 grandchildren grand-children and 67 great-grandchildren. For the last eight years, since the death of her husband, Mrs. Holt has made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Clove. Her husband was bishop of the old Hebron ward at the time the people moved from there to Enterprise En-terprise and he became the first bishop of Enterprise ward, serving serv-ing for 29 years in that capacity. During all these years, Mrs. Holt stood behind him in his work, entertaining en-tertaining visiting church authorities authori-ties and working in the auxiliary organizations of the ward, especially especi-ally in the Relief Society, holding offices of responsibility in this organization as well as in the children's Primary. funeral services are being held this (Thursday) in the Enterprise ward hall at 1:30 p. m. |
