Show LaVERKIN Pansy L. Hardy Reporter The monthly preparation meeting of the LaVerkin Pimary officers and teachers was held at the home of Harriet Hardy. The lesson les-son was capably presented by Rosalba Fuller. Plate lunches were served by the hostess. Mr. and Mrs. Moroni Sanders spent the past week in northern Utah, visiting turkey growers in that section. , Mr. and Mrs. LaFell Iverson and family visited in Washington over Thanksgiving. The ward Sunday school offi-i offi-i cers and teachers entertained on Wednesday honoring Walter Seg-ler, Seg-ler, second counselor in the Sunday Sun-day school superintendency. Mrs. LaVell Hinton and daughter-in-law, Leona Hinton, are visiting vis-iting in Las Vegas with Mr. and Mrs. Neil Heywood. Mrs. Pearl Henroid left recently for Salt Lake City where she will spend the winter. Gene Henroid and Ben Brad-shaw Brad-shaw have gone to Arizona to spend the winter. Mr. and Mrs. Harris Gubler entertained en-tertained seven couples at their home last Sunday evening. The event was set to honor the couple's wedding anniversary and to serve as a house warming, and birthday birth-day party for Mr. Gubler. Mrs. Joseph Gubler entertained at her home recently honoring her son Harris, on his birthday anniversary. Mr. and Mrs. Wickley Gubler and family of LaVerkin and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Empey of St. George spent Thanksgiving in Payson at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lorin Miller. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Segler visited in Richfield last week with Mr. Seglcr's sister. 'Mrs. Lizzie Hopkins. Pvt. Ellis Woodbury and wife were here recently visiting his parents, Mr. and Uts. Arthur Woodbury and other relatives. Mrs. Wallace Duncan is home from Las Vegas, where she has had employment. |
