Stat of Arizona Honors District Attorney Ellis J. Pickett on Friday Attorney Ellis J. Pickett of St. George appeared before the Supreme Su-preme Court of Arizona, Friday, Nov. 26, to be sworn in as a member of the State Bar of Arizona. Ari-zona. This recognition is based on record of practice, credentials, investigations and recommendations recommenda-tions of personal associates, rather than on the grilling hours of examinations ex-aminations under which an aspirant as-pirant 'gains admission to the bar ordinarily, and Attorney Pickett admits he appreciates deeply the honor extended to him on- this occasion. Accompanying him to Phoenix, where the event took place, were Mrs. Pickett and Mr. and Mrs. W. W. McArthur. The group returned re-turned to St. George Sunday having hav-ing made the round-trip on their week end trip, Wednesday over Sunday, going via the Kaibab route and returning via Kingman. They also visited friends in Mesa during their absence.
