Show LEEDS Mrs. Evelyn McMullin Reporter The M.I. A. held their Thanksgiving Thanks-giving party last Tuesday. Everyone Every-one was invited. Norma Dalton spent the Thanksgiving Thanks-giving holidays in Las Vegas with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Dalton. Those attending the shower given in St. George for Miss Lila McAllister were Mrs. R. C. Savage Sav-age and daughters, Margaret" and Evelyn McMullin, Addie Naegle and Ruby and Alice Savage. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Shelly of Las Vegas spent several days of last week with Mrs. Shelly's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hartley. Mr. and Mrs. Clair Stirling of Salt Lake City visited several days the past week with friends and relatives here and in Hurricane. Hurri-cane. The stake missionaries held a very interesting cottage meeting of Mr. and Mrs. A. Eastman last week. They also had charge of the Sacrament meeting last Sunday with Hazel McMullin, Mabel Jarvis and Pfc. Karl Caldwell as the speakers and Melba Baker and Ruth Allen of St. George furnishing the music. It was enjoyed by all attending. The following people visited here Thanksgiving Day: Mrs. Gene Johnson and family, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Anderson, Mr. Spendlove, Mr. and Mrs. Dan Daggs, all of Hurricane; Mr. and Mrs. Bob Naegle of Toquerville; Mr. and Mrs. Mack Jackson of St. George. Ward Ballard, radio technician in Uncle Sam's army visited Sunday Sun-day with his aunt, Mrs. L. G. Sullivan. Mr. Allen of Orderville is here to stay a month or so with his son, C. E. Allen. Agnes Wilson spent Thanksgiving Thanksgiv-ing holidays at her home in Pan-guitch. Pan-guitch. Pfc Karl Caldwell is home to spend a short furlough from his post in Oregon. |
