Show Mrs. Grace E. Chestnut Cox Dies At Her Home In Hurricane HURRICANE, Utah. Mrs. Grace Ellen Chestnut Cox, 71, died at her home in Hurricane Monday, Nov. 29, at 4 p. m., after a short illness. Born at Holden, Millard county, Utah, March 18, 1872, she was a daughter of Henry and Euphemia Knox Chestnut. Her mother died when she was aged five, and her father married again. When she was 15, the family moved to Old Mexico, where she had the care of her five brothers and sisters. On June 4, 1894, she was married mar-ried at Colonia Juarez to Amos Cox. They made their home in Mexico until 1912, when the Revolution Rev-olution compelled the U. S. citizens citi-zens to move out. They came to Utah, making their home in Ord-erville Ord-erville for five years, and later moving to Hurricane. Mr. Cox died several years ago. Surviving are four daughters: Mrs. J. M. Hinton, Hurricane; Mrs. John Sherratt, Cedar City; Mrs. W. E. Hall, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Nathan Broadbent, Kanab; two sons. Valdan Cox, of Las Vegas; and Melvin Cox of Hurricane; Hur-ricane; one half-brother, Al Chcst-j Chcst-j nut of Sacramento, Calif.; 22 ! grandchildren and two great-grandchidlren. great-grandchidlren.
