Show . , "-i Miss Manola Jones Married To Eddie Cluff Jr., In Temple Ceremony Thurs. Pres. Harold S. Snow performed the ceremony at the St. George Temple last Thursday evening, uniting in marriage, Eddie LeRoy Cluff Jr. of Kirtland, New Mexico, and Miss Manola Jones, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James S. Jones of St. George. . A family dinner honored the couple at the home of the bride's parents Friday noon and on Friday Fri-day a reception was given them at the south ward chapel recreation recrea-tion hall. For the reception the bride wore her wedding dress of white satin, in floor length model trimmed with narrow ruffling at the neck, cuffs and waist. In the receiving line were the parents of both bride and groom. They were otherwise unattended. Mrs. Vivian Leany, sister of the bride, directed a brief program which included readings by Miss Mary Faris of Hinckley, a request number by the bride, and one by her sister, Miss Esther Jones; two piano numbers by Mrs. Jesse Short, vocal duets by Lois Gardner Gard-ner and Shirley Harper, and a playlet, play-let, "The Family Jar" (row) by the Misses Velda and Maxine Leany, neices of the bride, Ellen Raye Cottam and Beverley Moody. Dancing followed the program and light refreshments were served. ser-ved. The couple left Saturday with the groom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Eddie LeRoy Cluff Sr., for a honeymoon trip to Kirtland, New Mexico. |
