Show St. George B.-P. W. Club Has Largest Representation At State Meet of Any Club Twelve members of the local B.-P.W. Club with Mrs. Jetta Snow, local retiring president as chairman of the delegation, attended at-tended the State Convention held at Ogden on May 24 and 25. This was the largest group to attend of any club in the state, and also came the longest distance. The outstanding event of the Dixie District was the stunt put on by the St. George group called "Little Nell." Those taking part in it were La Vera McArthur, Alice Pendleton, Margaret Jones, Vivian Spencer, accompanied by Ruth Falck. They were highly complimented for this number. Mrs. Jetta Snow was appointed to represent St. George on a committee headed by the District Adviser from Cedar City to advertise ad-vertise Southern Utah at the National Na-tional Convention to be held in July. Mrs. Snow states that this is the best convention that she has ever attended. Those attending from St. George were Anne R. Price, Jetta Snow, Kate B. Empey, Luetta Imlay, Mattie and Alice Pendleton, La-Vera La-Vera McArthur, Margaret Jones, Erma Bentley, Vivian Spencer, Ruth Falck and Louise Tolman. |
