Show Bridal Couple Honored Following Temple Ceremony A charmingly arranged dinner at the home of Mrs. Eva Higbee Saturday afternoon complimented Mr .and Mrs. Dee Forsyth of Newcastle, following their marriage mar-riage in the St. George Temple. Mrs. Higbee was assisted by her daughters, Mrs. Grant Harris, Mrs. Arthur Kemp, Marie and Gena Higbee, plates being laid for 20. The bride is a daughter of Mrs. Frank Knell and niece of Mrs. Higbee and the groom a son of Mr. and Mrs. Jess Forsyth, of Newcastle. They were married at 2 p. m., with Grover Shakespeare. assistant to the president, officiating offici-ating in the absence of Pres. Harold S. Snow. For the wedding dinner, one long table was set, centered with the three-tiered wedding cake made and decorated by the bride's sister. Miss Virginia Knell, now of Salt Lake City. A tiny bride and groom topped the cake, holding tiny streamers that connected with the bowls of sweet peas used in the table decorations. Besides the bride's mother, and the groom's father, out-of-town guests included Miss Virginia Knell, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Adams of Parovvan, Mr. and Mrs. Heber Smith of Cedar City. Following the dinner the couple left for Boulder Dam for a week before returning to Newcastle to make their home and where a wedding dance was set to honor them Wednesday night. |
