Show TOQUERYILLE Mrs. Rowena W. Slack Reporter The Ladies' Sewing club met last Thursday evening at the home of Mrs. Clay Denton with Mrs. Harry Slack as co-hostess. The D. U. P. met Friday at the home of Mrs .Heber L. Naegle. Hostesses were Mrs. Naegle and Mrs. Lynn Naegle. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Beatty and son Park, left Monday for Zion Park where Mr. Beatty has employment. em-ployment. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Ipson of Morenci, Arizona, visited Mrs. Ip-sen's Ip-sen's sister, Mrs. Edwin Slack Saturday and Sunday on their way to Salt Lake City where they will make their home. Mr. and Mrs. Archie Kleinman and children, Leland and Beatrice, left Tuesday for Bryce Canyon where Mr. Kleinman will be employed em-ployed for the summer. Miss Marsetta Glazier is employed em-ployed at the Big Hand cafe in St. George. Reta Smith and Morgan Bringhurst Bring-hurst left Saturday for Grand Canyon to work. Mr. and Mrs. Riley Slack and family of Los Angeles are visiting visit-ing this week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dan Kleinman. Mrs. Rulon Beatty and daughter daugh-ter Doris, left Tuesday for Los Angeles after spending the past three months here. Visitors at the Sacrament meeting meet-ing Sunday were Harvey Dalton and Clell Covington of Hurricane. Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Wakeling left Monday for Newcastle where they will stay this summer. |
