Show La Verkin Mrs. Alice Gubler Reporter 'The ward primary officers gave a surprise party on Mr. and Mrs. James Judd Friday night. Mrs. Judd has just been released as primary play leader, in response to a missionary call to Australia. There were seventeen guests at the party. Interesting and lively games were played. Mrs. Cleone Iverson won the prize of the evening even-ing for her most unique drawing of "The Old Grey Mare." Emil Graff, Miss Dawn Graff and Bill Sanders attended the turkey grower's convention at Salt Lake Thursday. The farmers of LaVerkin have been planting new trees this season. sea-son. Work is being done on the field roads. This is quite an important improvement to the farmers. Mrs. Emma Bradshaw and Mrs. Mae LeBaron were stake visitors to the Relief society Tuesday. In last week's birth announcements announce-ments it was announced that a daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. Cyrus Gifford of Toquerville. Mr. and Mrs. Cyrus Gifford are from LaVerkin. The Sanders brothers are just finishing a new incubator house and store room. |
