Show Washington Mrs. Lenzy Hoopes Reporter Mr. and Mrs. Golden Paxman and family and Mr. and Mrs. L. P. Vincent motored to Las Vegas last week-end. While there they visited Mr. and Mrs. Bert Webb and Mr. and Mrs. Clark Chadburn. Heber Atkin attended the funeral funer-al services of his brother. Henry T. Atkin. in St. George last week. Mrs. Marjorie Turnbcaugh is ill with the flu. Her daughter, Edna is caring for her. Mr. and Mrs. Reed Hall, former residents of Washington, have returned re-turned to make their home here. They have been in Bristol, Nev. Among those who attended Union meeting in St. George were Bishop Wallace Iverson, Mrs. Mary Prince and Mrs. Ruth Hoopes. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Christian are guests at the Reed Hall home. Last week we reported Mrs. Maude Myers entertained the "Just-A-Mere club". It was Mrs. Mary Myers. She is living at the Ray Iverson home. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Robinson and daughter, Joyce spent Sunday Sun-day in St. George. Eldon Mock made a business trip to Provo last week, while there he visited friends and rela-t rela-t ives. Mrs. Lenzy Hoopes was happily surprised when some of her friends called on her the other evening, the occasion being her birthday. The evening was spent playing pinochle and at midnight popcorn I and home-made candy was served. I Mr. and Mrs. Israel Neilson Sr. I are both confined to their home with the "flu". Miss Afton Schmutz. who is employed at the Wesley Nelson home, spent the week-end with her parents. Little Bernard and Douglas Holland, Hol-land, sons of Mr. and Mi's. Benjamin Ben-jamin R. Holland, are ill with nn epedmic which has been going the rounds.
