Show Contract Awarded On Hurricane City Reservoir Webb and Bradshaw Co., Contractors Awarded Labor Contract; New Bids Asked for Material A labor contract was awarded today for construction of Hurricane Hurri-cane City's new Public Works Administration Ad-ministration financed 250,000 gallon gal-lon concrete waterworks reservoir, reser-voir, PWA Resident Engineer Inspector In-spector Wallace R. Wayman announced an-nounced today. This project is known on PWA files as Docket: Utah 1163-F. Under the Public Works Administration Ad-ministration Recovery Act, which made funds available for the construction con-struction of the local project, all work must be done by private contractors con-tractors who win their contract under open competitive bidding. Effectiveness of the Public Works Administration as a recovery measure mea-sure was shown by the fact that a number of labor contractors bid on the project. Webb & Bradshaw, a new local contracting firm of Hurricane. Hur-ricane. Utah, submitted the lowest bid on the specifications written by local Engineer, Leo Snow of St. George.
