Show Counties To Have Three Representatives On Civic Clubs Board Members of the Associated Civic clubs of Southern Utah residing in each county will in the future have three representatives instead of two on the board of directors, according to a new plan of organization organi-zation announced by Pres. James M. Sargent this week. . In the past members of the association as-sociation residing in each county have selected two of their number to represent them on the board. They will continue this practice and in addition each county commission com-mission will also have a vote the same as a director. The change was made through an amendment to the organization's constitution. It will not be necessary for the commissioners to select one of their number as their official representative, rep-resentative, says President Sargent. Sar-gent. The commissioners will all be welcome to attend the directors' meetings and may cast their vote as they see fit either one member, mem-ber, together or one-third each. The new plan is expected to be beneficial to the entire territory and was made in the interests of creating a better understanding of problems and closer cooperation. A more effective organization should result. Directors from Washington county for 1939 in addition to the commission will be Chauncey Sandberg of Hurricane and Laron S. Andrus of St. George. Members are invited to contact either of the directors relative to problems J or projects they wish the Associat-i Associat-i ed Civic clubs to consider.
