Emily Brooks Selected To Play Part In B.Y.U. Tlay PROVO, Dec. G--Emily Brooks of St. George, College of Fine Arts student at Brigham Young university, uni-versity, has been selected to appear ap-pear in the "Y" Speech department's depart-ment's production of the Oriental drama, "Lady Precious Stream", according to an announcement from the office of Dr. T. Earl Pardoe, department head under who direction the play will be presented. An ancient Chinese play translated trans-lated into English according to its traditional style, "Lady Precious Stream" is the third major drama of the year. Following time-honored time-honored Chinese custom, it will be played without scenery, property men in black moving about to furnish the actors the necessary properties as they are called for in the script. Presentation of the play will be in College hall, December 15, 16 and 17.
