Show Many Parents Attend ' Hurricane Hi As Guests HURRICANE, Utah One hundred-fifty parents of East Washington Wash-ington county students were all day guests at Hurricane high school on Friday, Dec. 2. This is the second annual Parent's Day to be held in the new building and differed from last year's event in that the students were accorded a day's vacation. The teachers, during the forenoon, fore-noon, devoted themselves to acquainting ac-quainting the parents with the methods and motives of instruction in the various classes. The parents par-ents in turn aired their individual problems and grievances. At noon a delicious lunch was prepared by Miss Kendall and her home making girls, was served to all patrons of the school. The program which followed the luncheon was presented by the students under the direction of their student body president. Harvard Har-vard Hinton, and was as follows: Devotional music, Maxine Slack; costume dance, La Donna Stevens and Rosamond Wood; vocal solo, Verline Walker: stringed trio.
