Show St. Gecrge CCC Csmp The enrollment period of approximately ap-proximately 60 members of the company will end during this month. Thirty-one of this group have decided to return to their homes and six will be transferred back to their home corps area. The rest of them will stay with the company for another six months period. Work on the Ellis Larson reservoir reser-voir near the state line is progressing pro-gressing rapidly under the direction direc-tion of Roy Wright. When completed com-pleted this project will have a cement bottom and will hold approximately ap-proximately 63,000 gallons. The dam will be 120 feet in length with a diversion ditch of 471 feet. The camp carpentry crew is busy changing the present cook's quarters and supply room. The change is being made to provide necessary space for the supply department de-partment and to give the cooks a home which is closer to their work and more easily heated. Alex Bryski and Joe Lukowski are spending their six-day re-enrollment re-enrollment leave looking over the sights in Southern California. Work will soon be started on a storage tank and corral which will be located on the stock driveway near the top of the Quail Canyon dugway. The reservoir will provide the second watering place on the 30 mile drive from Wolf Hole to St. George. Twenty-five hundred man days have been alloted for this project. . A. B. Woolums, former company commander of 2558, has worked out a plan to show movies in most of the camps of the district at regular intervals and will start this service to the camps in January. Janu-ary. The camp proved their superiority superior-ity at Ping-Pong last Wednesday night by winning four straight matches from representatives of the Dixie college. We expect more hot competition throughout the winter in return engagements. |
