Show Washington County Recreation Project To Commence Soon Funds for a recreational project proj-ect for Washington county, which will use nineteen Junior Recreational Recre-ational supervisors to be taken from the relief rolls and two non-relief Senior supervisors, have been alloted for the coming com-ing year, according to Lloyd McArthur Mc-Arthur who will direct the work here in the county. Recommendations have been submitted by the County Recreation Recre-ation committee for the first Junior Jun-ior and Senior supervisors and as soon as the assignments come through they will be put to work. The balance of the alloted payroll on this project will be assigned as fast as possible and the work carried to as much of the county as possible, Mr. McArthur said. "The project", said Mr. Mc- j Arthur, "is for everyone with any leisure time. It may be aa story hour and play period for children child-ren between 6 and 8 years of age, it may be volley ball, horse" shoe pitching, leather work, model building, arts and crafts of various sorts, supervised drawing draw-ing and art, in fact anything which will profitably occupy the individual's leisure time. It is planned to conduct supervised supervis-ed swimming periods in which anyone who wishes can get e x p e r-t instruc tion in swimming. swim-ming.
