She will spend ten days visiting here and then go on to Provo where she will teach in the Alpine summer school. .Misses Nellie and Beverly Jan-fcen Jan-fcen of Provo arrived here Tuesday Tues-day to spend thlr vacation at the homo of their grandfather, Rue-ben Rue-ben Gardner. Eldon and Dee Lang of St. George spent Sunday here with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Parley Par-ley Lang who are here for the summer. Misses Morlene Fawcett, Verna Burgess, and Evelyn Cannon, and Elbert Nelson Lynn Empey, and David Sell mu tz had a chicken roast in the canyon here on Saturday Sat-urday nght. They were accom panied by Mrs. jea jawceu, who returned to her home the following follow-ing day. Miss Merlene remained here to spond some time with relatives. Bishop and Mrs. Jeter Snow arrived at their home here on Tuesday to spend their vacation from the St. George Temple. Mr. and Mrs. Malin Cox and Bruce Snow were business visitors visit-ors in St. George on Monday. The 4-H club under the direction direc-tion of Mrs. Dixie Burgess met at the home of Miss Adella Hall on Wednesday. As a part of their study of "The Better Breakfast" Break-fast" they made muffins. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Jones and son Rueben and daughter Henrietta of Cedar City spent the week-end here with her father Rueben Gardner. They were accompanied ac-companied by Mrs. Jones' father Lehi Jones, Sr. Mr. and Mrs. Rex Gardner and Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Snow attended attend-ed the funeral of their uncle, R. A. Morris in St. George on Wednesday. Wed-nesday. Mr. and Mrs. Glenn E. Snow went to Cedar City on Tuesday where two of their children had their tonsils removed. Walter Hughes of Mesquite, Nevada is employed here doing some repair work at the home of Mrs. Sarah Jacobson. |
