Show Utah Receives Loans From Farm Credit Firm Short term loans that aggregate about $9,924,000 have been extended extend-ed to the stockmen of Utah from 1933 to June 1, 1937 by the Utah Livestock Production Credit association as-sociation of Salt Lake City according ac-cording to Arthur Smith, Secretary-treasurer. During this same period the Utah Farm Production Credit association has loaned the farmers of the state $2,950,700 for crop production, says E. K. Winder, secretary-traesurer. A total of S167 loans have been made for about 525,873,000 during the twenty-year period in which the federal land bank has been operating in Utah. There has been 3790 land bank commissioner loans approved for 56,823,000 since May 1933. The total number of loans made by the Federal Land Bank was 11,957 for approximately 532,696,000. |
