Show St. George C.C.C. The newest addition to the Division of Grazing personnell is Felix Clavell, D. G. Mechanic. Mr. Clavell comes o D. G.-45 highly recommended by his former Superintendent, Super-intendent, Kunz of the Veyo CCC Camp. Mr. Claverll was recently employed as mechanic at the Brad-shaw Brad-shaw Motor Company in Cedar City, Utah. Saturday afternoon the camp baseball team of CCC Co. 2558 went to Hurricane where a most interesting base ball game was played before a good crowd of town fans. The game was close throughout, the final score reading 10 to 8 in favor of the CCC Co. 2558 team. The game was punctuated with home runs and long drives from both sides. Three home runs were made by the winning team while one was credited to theHurricane team in the first inning. Monday evening, July 12, Captain Cap-tain Earl Jackson, former Commanding Com-manding Officer of CCC Company 2558, visited our camp as guest of Captain Fred Klenk. |
