State Capital, Salt Lake City, Utah, at 2 o'clock p.m. Wednesday, Wed-nesday, July 2S, 1937. and at that j time publicly opened for construction construc-tion of l'v inch Road Mix Oil i Surface Road in Washington County the same being Federal Aid Projects Nos. 113-A-C-D be-! be-! tween La Verkin Junction and jllarrisburg Bench, j The length of road to be con-1 con-1 structed or improved is 11.137 miles, and the principal items of work are approximately as fol-j fol-j lows : I 4995 barrels oil; 11.137 Miles scarifying and mixing. The attention of bidders is directed to the Special Provisions covering subletting or assigning the contract. The mnimum wage paid to all skilled labor employed on this contract shall be 80 cents per hour. The minimum wage paid to all intermediate labor employed on this contract shall be 60 cents per hour. The minmum wage paid to all unskilled labor employed on this contract shall be 50 cents per hour. Plans and specifications are on file in the office of the State Road Commissioner, Salt Lake City, and at District Engineer's office at Cedar City, Utah where they may be reviewed by prospective prospec-tive bidders. Specifications, proposals, pro-posals, biddding blanks and plans will be furnished at Salt Lake City on depositing $2.00, which will be returned, providing contractor con-tractor submits an acceptable bid and returns the plans within seven days after bids are received. Any additional information may be secured at the office of the State Road Commission. Each bidder must submit a letter from an approved ap-proved surety company guaranteeing guarantee-ing to furnish said bidder with required re-quired bond. The right to reject any or all bids is reserved. Cash, certified check, or cashier's check for five per cent of total amount of bid made payable pay-able to the State Road Commission must accompany each bid as evi dence of good faith and a guarantee guaran-tee that if awarded the contract, the bidder will execute the contract con-tract and give bond as required.
