Show Rcckviile Mrs. Philetus Jones Reporter Mr. and Mrs. Charles Day and Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Foremaster of Las Vegas were visiting with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Jennings last Sunday. Mrs. Richard Demill was taken to the Iron county hospital on the 5th of July. She is still there under the doctor's care. Mrs. Philetus Jones was called to Beaver on July 7. Kent, the young son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Worthen, was ill with an acute infection in his knee. He was rushed to the L.D.S. hospital and was operated on by Dr. Lawrence Snow. Pie seems to be doing all right as far as can be told at .the present time. Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Stevens spent the Fourth of July here with his mother, Mrs. Clara Stevens. Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Davis and family of Ogden spent Sunday visiting friends here. Roachie and Edwin Demill of Salt Lake City spent a day or two here last week on business and visiting relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Alton Jones and daughter, Alyce spent Sunday visiting relatives in St. George. Our Relief Society was reorganized re-organized last Sunday. The outgoing out-going presidency was Mrs. Phebe Terry, Josie Demill and Leona Irwin. The new officers chosen were Mrs. Leo Plirschi, Mrs. Leona Irwin and Mrs. Thora Demill. D. W. Dodsworth came after his wife last week. She has been visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ira Millett for the past two months. Miss Idona Workman went to Oakland with them and will join her mother there. Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Vincent and Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Bell of Los Angeles are here visiting their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alma Demill. Mrs. Mac Fleckner and sons of Oakland are here visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Levi Demill. |
