Show " 1 1 V2 KSUB Plans Educational Broadcasts A series of radio broadcasts over the newly constructed station KSUB at Cedar City is being arranged ar-ranged by a committe of members of the faculty of the Branch Agricultural Agri-cultural College with Professor Roy L. Halverson of the instrumental instru-mental music department as chair man. The first program will be presented pre-sented Thursday, July 15, with Rodney Palmer, student body president-elect, as guest speaker The following Monday, July 19, Dr. M. J. Macfarlane, member of the board of trustees of the State Agricultural College will speak on the subject "Why Go to College". John W. Christensen and Richard Palmer, two graduates of the R.A.C. will appear as guest speakers speak-ers on Thursday, July 22. Scott Matheson, Esq., Assistant U. S. District Attorney, who is an alumnus of the Branch Agricul-1 tural College will appear on the program, Monday, July 26. "Parowan Night" will be observed observ-ed in the B.A.C. broadcast of Thursday July 29, Parowan students stu-dents and alumni being featured on the program. On Monday, August 2, Professor Allen Cannon of the English department will speak on "Purposes and Policies of the Branch Agricultural College". "Beaver Night" will be observed in the broadcast of Thursday, August 5, with Beaver students and alumni appearing on the program and on Monday, August 9, a talk on "Agri-(Continued "Agri-(Continued on page eight) j Educational Broadcast l Continued ironi fi'-'st Page) cultural Opportunities in Southwestern South-western Utah" will be given by Sumper Hatch of the agricultural staff of the coilege. Further programs will be announced an-nounced later. These programs will be given at 5:00 P.M. each Monday am-lThursdav night. Station KSUB broadcasts at 1310 kilocycles, 100 watts.
