LA VERKIN La Verkin, Nov. 2 2. A fareyvell party was held here last Wednesday night, in the new ward hall, in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Webb, who left Sunday for Salt Lake City to make their home. We wish them happiness there and will welcome them back if they ever decide to return. re-turn. The Bee Hive girls gave a party Thursday night in honor of Erma Webb, who left for Salt Lake City, to make her home, Sunday. L. E. Hancock, of Smith and Hancock Han-cock Fruit Co. of Salt Lake City, was a business visitor here last Tuesday. The construction of a new road through La Verkin was started today, La Verkin people donating half of it. Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Barnhurst and daughter, Miss Laura, of St. George were visitors here today. Henry W. Gubler and son Winferd are Salt Lake City visitors this week. Over 100 turkeys were shipped from here last Thursday. The heating plant is completed in the . new ward hall. William Sanders yvas a Salt Lake visitor last week.
