Show DAVID CHENEY DIES EX ROUTE TO SAINT GEORGE Logan, Nov. 12. David Cheney, 69, of Archer, Idaho, died here Thursday of pneumonia at the home of his son, Wayne L. Cheney. Mr. Cheney was taken ill two weeks ago shortly after his arrival hereto visit his son as he-wasgn route to St. George, to spend the winter. The body will be taken to Archer for burial, which will take place Sunday Sun-day afternoon, November 14. Mr. Cheney was born in Spring-ville, Spring-ville, March 8, 1857. His parents were among the earliest pioneers of Utah and his father helped to establish estab-lish the settlement of Fairview. Mr. Cheney's widow who is his second wife, and the following children survive: sur-vive: David and Rulon H. Cheney and Mrs. Alice O. Ricks, Los Angeles Ange-les Wayne L. Cheney, Logan; Silas L. Cheney, Magna; Clarence M. and Selar E. Cheney, Archer, Idaho. No public services will be held in Logan. The body was taken to the Linquist undertaking parlors. Deseret Des-eret News. Mr. Cheney was coming here to spend the winter working in St. George temple. His second wife was Kate Hamblin of St. George. |
