Show MODENA MODENA, Dec 4. Mrs. Lillian Chapman has taken a ten days' vacation and is now visiting her daughters, Irene and Anna at Salt Lake City and her sister, Mrs. Minnie Mclntire at Driggs, Idaho. C. E. Wormley who has been working on his ranch at Short Creek, visited Mr. and" Mrs. McDowell Mc-Dowell for several days last week. Joe and Philip Foremaster of St. George called on friends here last week. The American Telephone and Telegraph company, coast to coast line, is making Modena one of their distributing points. Fourteen Four-teen carloads of material are here to be unloaded. James B. Roberts is at the hospital hos-pital at Cedar City in a very serious condition. He had been in poor health for two or three years. Mrs. Alfred L. Force and Mrs. A. T. Dotson entertained at a bridal- shower in honor of Miss Blanche Huling at the home of Mrs. E. E. McDowell. Miss Huling Hul-ing will soon be married to Robert Rob-ert Dotson. We wish them much happiness in their new venture. Walter Huling of Cedar City spent Thanksgiving with his sister, sis-ter, Mrs. Alfred L. Force. Mrs. Rozilla Lund and daughter, daugh-ter, Cornelia of St. George, spent Thanksgiving with Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Lund and Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Hills. Nellie and Louis, daughter and son of the Hills, were also here for their vacation. |
