Show ROCKVILLE ROCKVTLLE, Dec. 2. Dee Lester Les-ter is employed at Garfield. The Springdale orchestra furnished furnish-ed the music for the dances last Thursday and Friday nights. A large crowd attended both evenings. eve-nings. Floyd and Richard DeMille motored mo-tored to Parowan for Thanksgiving Thanksgiv-ing and to visit Mrs. Richard DeMille De-Mille and other relatives. They returned re-turned Friday evening. Ira Cox was slightly injured when a tire on his truck blew out on a hill near Ash creek, and the truck overturned. He was hauling freight from Cedar City to Springdale. John and Evelyn Terry, Carol Cox, Ivy Hirschi, Daisy Jennings and Gordon Jones were home for Thanksgiving. Miss Gladys DeMille and J. H. Hayden spent Thanksgiving here from Desert Mound. David Hirschi was with us in our conjoint Mutual. He gave a very interesting discussion on the life of President Taylor. His wife, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Hirschi, and Mr. and Mrs. DeNor Ballard accompanied ac-companied him. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Thurston spent Thanksgiving at Hurricane. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Worthen spent the week end at St. George. Arthur Terry was a visitor at Cedar City Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. M. Irnmer of Los Angeles were here visiting Mrs. Irnmer's sister, Mrs. Arthur D. Cox. Mrs. John Dennett and Mrs. Nelson Weeks were business visitors vis-itors in St. George Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Perkins and children were here Tuesday en route from Sigard to Cane Beds where they will make their home. Miss Agnes Pendleton spent Thanksgiving at St. George with her parents. Riley Hirschi is in from the sheep herd to visit his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hirschi. The parent-teacher association held a meeting Tuesday evening after which games and dancing were enjoyed and a delicious luncheon was served. |
