Elwood, the three year old son i of Mr. and Mrs. Ammon Lake is recovering from his serious illness ill-ness with pneumonia. Mrs. B. Glen Smith has returned re-turned from Provo where she spent the past summer. She was accompanied ac-companied by her mother, Mrs. Wm. Dixon and her grandmother, Mrs. Matilda Dixon who will spend some time here. I T. J. Murphy of Los Angeles ! was a business visitor here on Monday and Tuesday. He was registered at the Liberty hotel. Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Howells of Twin Falls spent the fore part of the week visiting at the home of Mrs. Howells' brother, Arthur Fawcett. Mrs. Bell Bernard of Salina who spent the past two weeks visiting Mrs. Bell Macfarlane has gone to Los Angeles to spend the rest of the winter with relatives. Mrs. Alvin Fall and family of Hurricane who spent the past month here with Mrs. Hall's mo ther, Mrs. Philena Pickett, returned return-ed Tuesday to their home. Bishop Joseph Terry and son Merrill and Fay Holt, Raymond Farnsworth, Arnold Barlocker and Miss Hazel Terry of Enterprise Enter-prise were conference visitors in St. George last week- end. Misses i Marie and Wynema Chadburn came in Wednesday night from Taft, Calif., to spend three weeks with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jamles Chadburn. A. B. Harris came in Friday from Sawtelle, Calif., where he spent two years at the soldiers' home. He will stay here ovjr the I hoV.cr.vs. Ml-, and Mrs. John K. Madsen of Pleasant Grove and Mrs. Mad-sen's Mad-sen's parents, were visiting friends here Wednesday while en route to California. |
