Show " CENTRAL Central, Feb. 6. Ella Mae Burgess of this place and Deloy Abbott of Mes-quite, Mes-quite, Nev., were married Feb. 1 in the St. George temple. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. I. H. Burgess Bur-gess and the groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Abbott. Both are very highly respected and their many friends wish them a happy future. Elders Isiah Cox and Wm. Hardy were ward missionaries here the fore part of the week. Their meeting and visits were greatly enjoyed. Royal S. Hunt and Mrs. Fred Kurt were St. George visitors Wednesday. The cattlemen have returned from Eeaver Dam where they spent the past ten clays riding. Austin Bracken went to St. George Monday on business. Mr. and Mrs. Philip Burgess are here visiting from Enterprise. Mr. and Mrs. I. H. Burgess are visiting visit-ing in Mesquite, Nevada. Mr. and Mrs. Anton Bracken made a trip to St. George Monday. Mrs. Kate McAllister and two small daughters daugh-ters accompanied them home to spend the week end. Fred Kurt is here from Enterprise. A farewell party was given for Miss Mae Burgess Tuesday night at the home of Miss Marion Bracken. Lunch was served and an enjoyable time was had. George E. Lytle and son, Ezra were here Tuesday night. Mrs. Hannah Morrill's small grandson grand-son is here to spend the remainder of the winter attending school. Mr. and Mrs. Leornal Gardner went to St. George Monday. |
