CHANGE IN MAIL SERVICE BETWEEN LUND AND CEDAR The postmaster at Cedar City has been authorized to establish a star route mail service between Cedar City and Lund, and the following schedule is now in effect: Mail will leave Cedar City daily except ex-cept Sunday at 11:45 a. m., and daily at 7:10 p. m. Arrive Lund 1:15 p. m., and 8 p. m. Mail for this section will leave Lund at 9 a. m. daily and at 4 p. m. daily except Sunday. Arrive Cedar City 10:45 a. m., and 5:30 p. m. This is a temporary service authorized author-ized by the post office department until un-til bids can be called for and contract let for a permanent service. The new arrangement will not in any way affect out-going mail from St. George, but it is hoped that incoming incom-ing mail may be speeded up. Mail for this section arriving in Cedar at 5:30 p. m. will be worked that same evening or early the next morning, thus facilitating facil-itating the work the next day after the arrival of the 10:45 a. m. truck. It is thought that this Will permit the mail truck for this section to leave Cedar at an earlier hour.
