Show ! Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Hilton and six children and Naida Bishop Bis-hop of Delta spent the week end visiting Mrs. Hilton's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jeter Snow. S. C, Gerrard came in Friday from Salt Lake City to visit his daughter Nan who is spending the winter here with her grandmother, grand-mother, Mrs. Lottie Carter. Mrs. Joseph Lund entertained 16 guests at her home last Wednesday Wed-nesday afternoon. A delightful time was had playing rook after which delicious refreshments were served. Prizes were awarded award-ed to Mrs. Nemmie Pearce and Mtrs. Geneva Rogers. Ellsworth Snow, 10, son of Mrs. Whnda Snow had the misfortune mis-fortune to break his right arm between the wrist and the elbow while playing on the playground at school Tuesday. Mrs. Hale Pearce entertained the K. Y. B. Club at her home on Wednesday afternoon. Mrs. Jessee Pearce entertained it last week. Jessie Whipple of Logandale, Nevada underwent an operation for appendicitis at the local hospital hos-pital last FTiday night. Miss Ina McArthur entertained 12 friends at pionchle at her home on Wednesday evening. High score prize was won by Miss Claudia Hafen and consolation by Miss Mildred Marshall. Caurence Cox and seven year old son Jimmy of Overton, Nevada, Ne-vada, pent Sunday here the latter receiving treatment for a broken arm. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Richard of Salt Lake City have been guests at the home of Mrs. Richard's sister Mrs. Lyman Canfield. While here they visited in Las Vegas and Boulder City, Nevada, they returned to their home Monday. Mrs. Margaret Cillord of Los Angeles, California, arrived here Sunday and will he the guest of Mrs. Nellie B. Stauffer for the next two weeks. This is the first time in several years that Mrs. Clifford has visited her friends here. Word has been received of the birth of a daughter to Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Christain of Los Angeles, California, April 11. |
