Show VIRGIN A program and dance was given giv-en the CCC boys of the La Ver-kin Ver-kin camp in appreciation of the work they have done here. Captain Cap-tain Andrus gave a very interesting inter-esting talk on what it has meant to Washington County in having the boys here this winter and how the boys have enjoyed their stay. Refreshments were served to a large crowd. Lila, 6 month daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Brinkerhoff, died at the family residence Saturday, April 14th, of pneumonia. Sidney Hastings has enolled in the CCC camp at Washington. M. and Mrs. Evan Lee and Mrs. Lydia Lee were business visitors in St. George Thursday. A. G. Burnham left Monday for California. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Cornelius are making their home here. Mr. and Mrs. Bailey Adair of Salt Lake City are visiting at the homes of Mrs. Sarah Riding and Mrs. Sarah Spendlove. Mr. F. Jones of Las Vegas, Nevada Ne-vada is here working on the Sterling Ster-ling lease on the Downey flat. |
