Show MULE IS KILLED BY LIGHTNING Sennett Bowman had a narrow escape from death Monday morning morn-ing when lightning struck a mule. Mr. Bowman is herding sheep for Ernest Larson on the Arizona Strip, 15 miles south of St. George and had just alighted and moved several feet away from the mule when lightning struck the horn of the saddle, burning the straps off and following down the hind legs into the ground. Melvin Fawcett, anothere herder, was knocked down with Bowman i by the force of the discharge. |
