Show VIRGIN Virgin, July 6. There was a j party of boys (names not learned yet) who went from town to town setting off bombs, which did considerable consid-erable damage here, breaking windows wind-ows in a number of homes. While it may be fun for the boys who did it it is not for those who suffered loss. Henry Cornelius, Leslie Wilcox, Sam Wilson, and Preston Bradshaw came home to spend the 4th and expect ex-pect to return to their job at Cedar mountains on the telephone line tomorrow. to-morrow. The Fourth passed off here quietly. quiet-ly. A dance was given the children, while most of the young folks and some married people attended the open air dance at Springdale. Mrs. A. L. Boyce has returned from Cal. She has been suffering considerable with her head, and was in the hospital most of the time while she was gone. Mr. and Mrs. Niles Earl and family fam-ily will move to Kolob today, to start cutting grain. The grain crop is fairly good at that place this year. Trevor Isenberg was called home to Los Anegels, Calif., on account of the death of his brother-in-law. (Name not learned.) John Brewer of California is here visiting his sister, Mrs. A. L. Boyce. |
