Show lS.UHXK-K VAKS1TY TLAYEUS VHAj l'KKSKXT TWO I'LAYS The towns in this section will remember re-member the visit Inst summer of the Babcock Varsity Players in the most satisfying productions ever given in our neighborhood. The Babcock Varsity Players will again visit us and (hey are scheduled for St. George, July 19th and 20th. The plays to be given here are "Kindling" "Kind-ling" and "Mamma's Affair." The productions this year will be under the personal direction of Prof. JIaud May Babcock of the University of Utah and she has selected, to make up the cast, the following: Merrill Bennion, Allien Robertson, J. Kenneth Thatcher, Myrintha Burningham, J. Stanley Russon, Beula Casady, Calvin P. Midgly and Mercy Lundberg. These people are all experienced and have been selected select-ed by Miss Babcock from a score of active and professional alumni and members of the National Dramatic Fraternity. It is claimed 'to be the very finest cast ever gotten together by Miss Babcock and this city is certainly cer-tainly in for a very unusual treat. The company will be brought here under the auspices of three St. George ward recreational committees commit-tees and various committees have been appointed to look after the details de-tails connected with the visit of the Babcock Vajsity Players. The Babcock-Players are under the management of Fred C. Graham of Salt Lake City ;is was the case last year. |
