Show Edward Childers and Miss Zola. Sweazzla of Main Street, Mohave county, Arizona, were married Wednesday, August 31, by Justice of the Peace Harold Snow. Henry Bowler of Gunlock wa brought to the local hospital Saturday Sat-urday suffering with a severe hemorrhage of the nose. He remained re-mained here until Tuesday. Dr. and Mrs. R. J. Pace, Miss-Fern Miss-Fern Peacock and Mrs. Rulon Dalley of Los Angeles who have spent the past ten days here visiting vis-iting with relatives, left Sunday for their home. Dilworth Snow and son, Wendell, Wen-dell, left Sunday for Salt Lake City. They were joined in Cedar City by Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Snow. They expect to return the latter' part of the week. H.. L. Lee and Miss Madge Christensen spent the week end at Elisnore, returning here Monday. Mon-day. Miss Olive Ogden of Richfield Rich-field returned with them and will visit here for about two weeks. Mrs. Wm. Perry left Tuesday after visiting friends here for several days, for her home in Los Angeles. She had been visiting vis-iting in Los Angeles. James Al-sop Al-sop accompanied here to Bur-bank Bur-bank where he will attend high school this winter. Stewart Rnowlton and Jack Ballwinkel of Salt Lake City came down Saturday and visited visit-ed until Monday. They were accompanied ac-companied on the return trip by Mrs. Knowlton and Mm Sylvia Gates. The latter will visit in Salt Lake for a week. Among those from St. George who ppent Friday at Hurricane attending the Peach day celebration celebra-tion were: Dr. and Mrs. D. A. McGregor, Mr. and Mis. C. W. Love, David H. Morris, Judge LeRoy H. Cox, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Smith, Mrs. Ada Cannon, Mi.'-s Mattie Earl, Sheriff Win. Brooks and sons, and Mrs. John Stauffer. |
