Show HEART FAILURE STRIKES MATRON Mrs. William Theobald of To-querville To-querville Passed Away Suddenly Sud-denly Friday. A violent heart attack Friday afternoon, at about 1:30 resulted in the death two and a half hours later of Mrs. Lorena Theobald, Theo-bald, wife of William Theobald, and a life-long resident of Toquerville. To-querville. . Mrs. Theobald was born June 1, 1883, at Toquerville, a daughter daugh-ter of the late James and Martha Mar-tha McFate Jackson, early pioneers pio-neers of that section. She wi an accomplished musician, and for a number of years served as ward organist, stake organist of the Relief Society, and assisted with otlr activities of a religious reli-gious "nature in the J community. She is survived by her husband hus-band and the following children: Clarence, Harvey, Josephine, Evan, Ev-an, and Mildred; Funeral services were held on Sunday in the ward hall with Bishop Leo Bringhurst in charge. The opening musical number was a song by the choir, "Oh, My Father". Prayer, James Judd. A solo, "My Faith in Thee", was rendered by Mrs. Isabel Papworch. Speakers were Bishop W. H. Slack, Mrs. Jennie C. Lamb, President Claud Hirschi, Riley C. Savage and Mrs. Albert Anderson Ander-son of the stake Relief Society ! board read resolutions of respect from' that organization. Musical numbers included a duet, "Come Unto Me", Bishop and Mrs. W. H. Manning; violin solo, Miss Blanche Lamb; a reading, "My Mother", Mrs. Camilla Judd. The closing song, "Rest, Rest for the Weary Soul", was rendered ren-dered by the choir; benedition by Heber L. Naegle, and the grave was dedicated by Elder Gowers of Nephi. |
