Show TRAVEL TO PARKS ALMOST NORMAL Travel entering Zion national park this year is only 11 per cent under last year, according to H. L. Reid, ranger-naturalist, who has been employed in Zion this summer. The total number of people entering the park up to Monday of this week- is only slightly less than last year. However, the lodges are not doing a rushing business, and this has a good deal to do with reports that travel has dropped to almost nothing. Mr. Reid will return to the park Friday or Saturday to make up his final reports and will then come to St. George to be employed at the Dixie college this term. During the summer he has contacted visitors from 47 states of the union, the District of Columbia Co-lumbia and seventeen foreign countries. |
