Show VIRGIN VIRGIN, Feb. 11. We have greatly enjoyed the visit of our missionaries, Elders James Jepson and Joseph Wright of Hurricane. They called at all of the homes, held three cottage meetings . and attended sacrament meeting Sunday. Sun-day. Mr. and Mrs. Dell Beames and baby have moved to Cedar City where he will operate a service station for the Utacal Oil company. com-pany. He has been taking care of the of the interests of that company here for the past four years. We regret having them leave our community, but wish them success in their new home. Kenneth, the Infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Cornelius, has been quite HI the past two weeks with an abscess in his ear. He is improving now. We had with us in Relief Society So-ciety meeting today the Zion park stake officers, Mrs. Augusta Wood, Mrs. Joseph Gubler, and Mrs. Mary Hall of Hurricane. We enjoyed their visit very much. Ms. Alice Ealton of Rockville was visiting her daughter, Mrs. Niles Earl, Monday. Edwin Hlgbee of St. George is a visitor here today. Some of the local men are working work-ing at the movie camp at Grafton. A farewell party was given at the home of Mrs. Jeanette Wilcox Saturday night in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Dell Beames. Niles Earl had the misfortune to get his hand quite badly mashed while loading wood in the hills last Friday. Mrs. Sarah Riding has been quite sick the past week. Miss Vonda Hopkins is home from Cedar City where she spent the past month. |
