Show WILL ENTERTAIN THE OLD FOLKS On Saturday, February 22 at 2:30 the Wadsworth brothers will feature fea-ture a theater party for all people 60 years of age and over, in St. Gorge, Washington county, or-from or-from any other point. The play to-be to-be presented is "Show Boat", the movietone of Edna Ferber's novel and Ziegfeld's stage play combined. The photoplay has for its theme the river, on whose banks half of the nation leads its existence. Added Add-ed to its simple joy and pathos are the heart-reaching melodies that have in them the pulsating beat of the Mississippi, the cot-tonfields, cot-tonfields, the rich plantations, and the syncopated rhythm of a lost Ethopian civilization. It deals with the characters born of the river, living struggling, finding amusement amuse-ment and meeting sorrow while Old Man River, he just keep rollin' along. The Wadsworth brothers have invested a large sum here in building build-ing one of the finest theaters In the state, and are anxious to have as their guests all of the old ppo-ple ppo-ple of the county to enjoy this excellent talking picture. Immediately following the theater thea-ter party the St. George committee commit-tee on recreation will give the following program in the college gym: Band concert; reminiscences, D. K.
