Show Smith Brimhall of Provo, nephew neph-ew of Mrs. B. Jarvis, Jr., was visiting vis-iting in St. George Wednesday. He is with the construction force of the A. T. T. Co. Mrs. May Stringham left Monday Mon-day for Las Vegas to spend the week visiting her mother and brother, bro-ther, Mrs. Jos. Carpenter and son, Delbert. W. H. Smith, Frigidaire salesman sales-man of Cedar City, and his father, fa-ther, William Smith, of northern Idaho, were visiting friends in St. George Monday en route to Las Vegas. Mr. Smith is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. David Mustard, early pioneer residents of this city. A. B. Christensen, the first principal prin-cipal of the Woodward school, is spending this week in St. George on 'business, being interested in irrigation projects in this vicinity. John Salberg, engineer for the Westinghouse Electric Company, and Ernest D. Shettler, salesman for the same firm, spent Wednesday Wed-nesday and Thursday in St. George. Tuesday evening in the East ward M. I. A. Dr. W. J. Reich-mann Reich-mann gave the first of two lectures lec-tures to the Gleaner classes of the East and West wards, on the care of mother and child. This lecture was most ably given and was greatly apprecaited by the 41 class members and visitors attending. attend-ing. The second lecture will be given next Tuesday evening and the South and West ward Gleaner classes are invited to attend. |
