GEORGE IX rSAC GLEE CLUB LOGAN Washington county is j represented on the male glee club j at the Utah State Agricultural college by Lelwin Wilkinsen, St. George, according to Professor Walter Welti, head of the vocal music department. At present the club is holding regular rehearsals for its annual fall concert of serious, humorous and classical numbers, which will be given in conjunction with the ladies chorus. The majority of the glee club members will also participate in the college opera which will be presented during the winter quarter. quar-ter. The selection has not yet been made by Professor Welti but he is considering one of Gilbert Gil-bert and Sullivan's or one of Victor Herbert's. Such classic operas as "Rigo-letto", "Rigo-letto", "Faust", and "II Trova-tore" Trova-tore" have been produced under the baton of Professor Welti at the college and last year "Blossom "Blos-som Time" was selected from the light opera list. In the spring "quarter the chor- ures will be combined again to present an oratorio, a cantata, or a mass.
