Show CIVIC CLUBS TO HOLD ANNUAL ELECTION AT BEAVER NOV. 16 The Associated Civic clubs of Southern Utah ' will hold its annual an-nual election of officers at Beaver on Saturday, November 16. Following Fol-lowing the election of officers the group will outline a program for the ensuing year. Each county is entitled to two directors who are elected for two-j year terms, one being named each i year to take office at the Decern- j ber meeting. At the present Washington county is represented! by C. W. Love Jr., vice-president, and Chauncey Sandberg. The first meeting will be held on Saturday and the business sessions wfll continue through Sunday morning. A renison banquet ban-quet has been promised for Saturday Sat-urday evening. Following this there will be a dance. Club officials report that they are expecting to have State Sena-I Sena-I tor yf,. D. Hammond, recently i appointed member of the state I r o a d commission to represent I southern Utah, present at both i sessions. The new commissioner I is a member of the Civic clubs iand was one of its most loya supporters in the last session of i the legislature. Mr. Love will be in attendance at the meetings in Beaver. |
