Show CANE BEDS, ARIZ. T. H. Love was confined to his bed for several days the past week with sickness. He is able to get around a little now. Karl Perkins' new house is rapidly nearing completion. Sid Potter from Pipe Valley is helping help-ing build it. Word has been received by relatives that Mrs. Annie Colvin, who recently joined her husband at Henrieville, Utah was seriously ill with pneumonia. She was improved slightly the last report received. Mr. and Mrs. Ellis F. Stock, Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Thurston and Mrs. Charles Walker went to Hurricane Monday on business. Don Covington returned this week from an extended visit with relatives in Idaho and Provo, Utah. The Armistice Day dance given Friday night by Mrs. Harris, the school teacher, was a big success. Clarence Perkins attended quarterly quar-terly conference in Hurricane on Saturday and Sunday. Jaek Harris went to St. George Friday to get his daughter, Millie who spent the week-end home from the Dixie College. The school is having a holiday today it being Armistice Day. We are all rejoicing over the fact that a bridge is being constructed con-structed over the Creek at Short Creek."" The work began last week with Clarence Black as overseer. Charles Walker and Ray' Palmer Pal-mer made a business trip to St. George last Wednesday. |
